The Waterscapes Collection

The perpetual movement of water is hypnotic and soothing. Whether it is a trickling stream or waves washing onto ocean shores, I am captivated and mesmerized by it. With Encaustics each layer must be melted before the next is added. That melting river of wax allows translucent sheets of the colours to peek through. On so many levels the Encaustic medium is meant to portray the fluidity of water!
